Rattan furniture should not be stored outside in winter, as natural rattan is sensitive to low temperatures - under their influence it can cause discolouration, distortion and cracks

Prolonged exposure to intense UV radiation can cause fading and weakening of the rattan. Place furniture in places protected from direct sunlight or use a sunshade.
