The White Greyhound of Richmond and the Tudor Rose are prominent heraldic symbols associated with the Tudor dynasty, particularly during the reign of King Henry VII. The white greyhound, often depicted with a collar adorned with the Tudor rose, represented the House of Tudor and the Honor of Richmond.

Mourning and memorial jewelry was popular during the Georgian and Victorian eras. Jewelry was commissioned to remember their lost loved ones and to focus on remembrance, grief, comfort and consolation.
