Woodturning Course - Full Day

10:00 to 16:00 including 1/2 hour break

What to expect

After a welcome drink and a safety briefing your tutor will outline the process to turn a bowl and help you select a bowl blank from a range of species.

We use the widely recognised teaching process of "Tell, Show, Do" where your tutor will make a bowl alongside yours to actively demonstrate the process and correct techniques.

By the end of the day you will come away with a completed bowl along with the knowledge and skills required to make a bowl in your own workshop.

If there is sufficient time available, you are able to purchase a second blank from our shop to create another bowl.

For a more advanced bowl turning course, choose our two day session where a variety of bowl shapes can be practised and different methods of finishing tried.

Our courses are limited to a maximum of three students at any one time to ensure that your tutor has plenty of time to spend with each student.
