Epson TM-U220 Product Description
The TM-U220 series includes three versions to fit every requirement: TM-U220A, TM-U220B and TM-U220D. All versions offer the following features:

• High-speed Printing: To speed transactions, the TM-U220 prints high-speed receipts at 4.7 lines per second, a 30% faster print speed than the TM-U200.
• Drop-in Paper Loading and ribbon Replacement: To facilitate quick paper changes, the TM-U220 features drop-in paper loading and ribbon replacement. Paper automatically feeds at 30 lines per second and a paper-out sensor notifies cashiers when paper needs to be replaced.
• Two-Color Printing: Two-color red and black printing highlights order changes and minimizes kitchen error. This feature also allows retailers to highlight special offers and emphasize marketing messages.
• Adjustable Paper Width Feature: To accommodate a variety of printing applications and receipt types, all versions support variable paper widths of 58, 70, or 76 mm paper rolls.
• Auto Status Back (ASB) Function: The ASB function automatically transmits changes in printer status to speed printer maintenance.

Flexible Options
Because the TM-U220 is designed to fit seamlessly into a variety of retail and hospitality environments, three different versions are available.

TM-U220A: Includes an auto cutter with full or partial cut options and a take-up journal that allows for uninterrupted, yet separate journal printing.

TM-U220B: Includes an auto cutter with full or partial cut options. The TM-U220B includes a wall-mounting option for use where space is at a premium. Right side up printing capability allows wall-mounted printers to print right side up receipts for instant readability.

TM-U220D: The most economical model, ideal for those requiring the versatility of wall mounting, without the added features of the A or B versions. Like the TM-U220B, the TM-U220D offers a wall-mounting option for right side up receipt printing.

Seamless Integration
The TM-U220 is 100% compatible with existing systems supporting the TM-U200 printer. The external dimensions of the TM-U200 and the TM-U220 are almost identical, allowing for quick, drop-in replacement.
